Team Gatee SFIT is the official Go-kart team of St. Francis Institute of Technology under the Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA). Team Gatee was formed in the year 2019 and our team consists of young and enthusiastic, budding engineering students from various streams working towards the development of Go-Karts. With a strength of over 30 students, we represent our college at various Competitions in India, where we design and manufacture Go-Karts. We have 3 interns from "Design and development of go-kart" by IRDO and 5 CSWA and 2 CSWP certified students. During our initial years we achieved AIR 2 in MIT Autosports Equilibrium 2021 and AIR 31 in Indian Kart Racing Championship (IKRC).
